D&D's National Youth Forum (NYF) – 25 April 2008

Bringing together a diverse cross-section of over 100 young people aged 16 -19, the NYF was a day-long conference that created an open, frank and robust space for dialogue and action.

New pilot programme to link rural and urban schools

Supported by the Pears Foundation and the Gulbenkian Foundation, the Rural-Urban School Exchange will link 15 students (age 13-14) from Sir James Smith school in Cornwall and 15 students from Tom Hood School in East London.

Young Londoners address religion and diversity in the city

‘Believing in London’ brought together 100 young Londoners from a wide range of different faiths and backgrounds. It asked them to share their experiences of religion and diversity in London. Participants came in school groups, with youth or faith groups or as individuals.

Diversity and Dialogue, the joint agency project which aims to create better understanding between young people from different faiths and backgrounds has moved to the Citizenship Foundation to start its second phase, after more than two years based at Save the Children.
