St Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art

St. Mungo's is a unique museum which aims to promote understanding and respect between people of all faiths and none. It explores the importance of religion in people's lives across the world and across time. The museum occupies three floors and has four exhibition areas, the Gallery of Religious Art, the Gallery of Religious Life, the Scottish Gallery and a temporary exhibition space.

The museum's Education Service provides programmes and resources for education providers from pre-school to higher education, including activity sheets linked to the collections, in-service training for teachers and other education professionals and introductory tours of the collections for school groups. They also run workshops on issues such as tackling sectarianism and exploring the major world religions.

The museum is a good starting point for exploring interfaith relations in Scotland and a rich resource of ideas, inspiration and information.
