Aims

These activities aim to stimulate debate and discussion on the issue of faith schools. Faith schools have been a focus of much media attention recently and it is important that young people understand the issues under discussion. This will help to prevent them forming stereotypes about people based on the kind of school that they go to.

These resources help to engage young people in complex issues around the appropriate role of religion in education and wider society. The activities aim to teach young people about both sides of the argument and do not offer their own judgement on faith schools.
