The Cambridge University Faiths Forum (CUFF) has 11 different faith
societies as members and affiliations with anti-discrimination
campaigns within the university.

It aims to:

  • Promote understanding between the faith societies of Cambridge University
  • Encourage communication and co-operation between the faith societies
  • Be a point of contact for faith-related issues in the University community

The forum arranged fortnightly sessions covering different faiths, with
presentations on the basic tenets of each faith, and a chance for
questions and discussion. They have also organized a garden party and a
faith-based quiz night. There are opportunities to experience some of
the faiths through meditation, chanting and food. Recently there have
been informal coffee meetings held for members, and there will soon be
co-operative social action initiatives in place. The forum has also
prompted some partnerships between different faith societies. The Hindu
and Jewish societies held a joint dance evening, for example.
