Both of these projects aim to empower young people to take leadership in intervening in all areas of bullying. The young participants are trained by Diversity Hub UK to be leaders.
The training is a 3-day course looking at diversity and prejudice reduction in anti-bullying work. They then take the model back to their schools and run Anti-bullying Clubs, or become mentors. The clubs are called Friends Against Bullying (FAB). The young people also come and deliver workshops to community-based groups, and have on going training and support from Diversity Hub UK to develop their skill base. The young people meet in their schools and at the organisation's offices. The project involves approximately 100 students between the ages of 10-25 from all faiths and backgrounds.
Diversity Hub now works with people of all ages and organisations on issues of equality and diversity.
