Interfaith Action (or 'Interact') aims to build understanding and increase tolerance between people of all faiths. They facilitate joint action and civic participation, enabling members of all faith communities to work together for the benefit of all communities. Their projects are tailored for young people from all faith and cultural backgrounds, particularly student communities.
Interact facilitates social, environmental and media projects in which young people have the opportunity to learn about each other by working together on real community projects. Engaging in a practical project can be more conducive to building relationships than dialogue alone.
Interact produces a magazine, Interact, written by and for young people from all faith and cultural backgrounds. It aims to give young people an opportunity to express their views and a chance to share their experiences of growing up in a faith community. It also is a platform for London's cultural diversity and lists culturally diverse events occurring in London.
