It promotes the belief, from a non-religious perspective, that the values shared by each of the nine major faiths have universal significance, and it is important to encourage mutual respect and understanding between faith groups.

The BKYP is a body of 30 young people, aged 11–21, elected by young people in Bradford and Keighley to raise issues and influence decision making on their behalf. Both the young people involved in the youth parliament and the young people they represent are from diverse faiths and backgrounds.

Breaking Barriers in Burnley is a multi-agency youth provision, which aims to involve young people from different areas, backgrounds and cultures together in order to develop positive relationships between the various communities of Burnley. It works to tackle racism, bring communities together, promote understanding and tolerance and to reduce conflict by providing constructive activities for the young people of Burnley.

The Building Blocks Centre is a parenting resource centre for young parents of all faiths and backgrounds which aims to improve educational attainment by providing high quality childcare and support for working and non-working young parents. It offers a range of services including excellent nursery and creche facilities, educational courses and a range of family activities.

Building Bridges Pendle

Building Bridges Pendle is an interfaith organisation that works with all faith communities in the borough of Pendle. It has an active education programme and has developed three interactive learning programmes for pupils in Years 5, 6 and 7. These are based on Government guidelines for PHSE and Citizenship education.

Burnley Youth Action Project

The Burnley Youth Action project aims to deliver a range of fun, developmental and issue based projects for young people in the local area. At the same time it develops the young participants as peer educators to enable them to lead on these activities and deliver a variety of activities to other young people in the community.

The project is driven by community cohesion goals and engages hundreds of young people between the ages of 11-24 from different faiths and backgrounds, including Muslim, Christian and no faith.
