Youth Initiatives is a cross-community youth group which aims to awaken hope, inspire initiative and mobilise youth to make a vital contribution to their community and to reconciliation in Northern Ireland through the discovery and renewal of Christian faith in daily life.
Continued »This youth mentoring project was organised by the Safer Communities Initiative (SCI), run by the Commission for Racial Equality (CRE), in partnership with JP Morgan, a leading global financial services firm.
It brought together young people from different backgrounds living in Tower Hamlets and helped them establish a local community project through mentoring support. It aimed to build links between young people from different faiths and backgrounds, and benefit the local community.
Continued »Youth Voice is an initiative set up and run by young people which aims to support young people in employment, education and learning and to encourage young people to empower themselves. Their mission statement is 'youth voice recognises all young people and their unique talents by encouraging originality and creating opportunities to achieve'.
