The Building Blocks Centre is a parenting resource centre for young parents of all faiths and backgrounds which aims to improve educational attainment by providing high quality childcare and support for working and non-working young parents. It offers a range of services including excellent nursery and playgroup facilities, educational courses and a range of family activities.

Working with Groundwork, Leeds Youth Cells Network, Middleton Methodist Church, Leeds Faith in Schools and the Sinai Synagogue, Diversity and Dialogue brought together young Christians and Jews from Leeds as well as some Israeli students to help clear up a small part of Leeds. The young people were fantastic and did a superb job of clearing rubbish in the area as well as meeting new people.

The Interfaith Task Group was convened in Leeds in 2001 and its role is to monitor interfaith activity in the diocese, to take initiatives in interfaith issues where necessary and to articulate a diocesan response to interfaith issues.
